We believe that the inspiration for design lies within the special qualities of the site, the potential users of the facilities, and the people that build them.

This is how we find the "Human Place in Nature".

Art Climb won two Honor Awards

The Cincinnati Art Museum’s exciting new outdoor gallery, Art Climb, has been recognized with two Honor Awards this year - one from The Cincinnati Design Awards (CDA) and one from the Ohio Engineering Excellence Awards (ACEC). The project was a multi-disciplinary collaboration of many different partners, including Human Nature, Emersion Design, Strand Associates, Turner Construction, CMTA, Terracon, Prus Construction and Obersons. A special thanks to the staff of the Art Museum for their vision for this project and their commitment to making art accessible for everyone.

Article "Everyone In", published on PRB (Parks & Recreation Business)

A well written article by Human Nature's Ryan Geismar about our thought processes and intentions behind the planning and design for Ziegler Park. Excellent programming has made those intentions reality.

Human Nature Celebrates 25 Years

Twenty-five years ago today, we started Human Nature with some simple aspirations. We wanted to be leaders. We wanted our work to make a difference. We wanted to make the world a better place. And we wanted to leave a positive legacy for future generations.

We are deeply grateful for all of the people who have made these 25 years possible - our families, our studio team, our clients, our collaborators, and the communities who have welcomed us.

Today, we unveil our new website as part of our anniversary celebration. We hope everyone enjoys it, and we look forward to the next 25 years of helping clients realize their dreams, and workIng with communities to heal, to reconnect, and to celebrate what it is to be human in our special earth home.
