Human Nature worked with The Ohio River Way and a Tri-state multi-disciplinary team, including Storrow Kinsella, to develop a greenway system that connects 150 miles of assets along the Ohio River from Madison, IN to Maysville, KY. Human Nature’s role was to organize and manage a GIS database to be used for planning, presentations, public brochures and web page use. The long term goal of creating such a dynamic database is to weave this unique and historic river corridor, with its residents, through natural connections to the river as well as the convenience of multimedia. Human Nature worked closely with the Ohio River Way’s web page designers and graphic designers to create integrated products. Through this collaboration, a unique vision of a “braided trail” emerged - one that expresses the Ohio River corridor through a variety of experiences - by foot, by bike, by car, by boat, by computer and by wildlife.
