Gary has 35 years of experience in design, project and construction management. As Principal, he leads Human Nature’s planning and design of comprehensive and site-specific trails and greenway projects. His background and training make him proficient in technical aspects of construction documentation and administration, site analysis, planning, grading, and stream bank stabilization. Gary promotes a holistic approach to the preservation and restoration of natural systems for purposes of reconnecting stormwater to the natural environment, while reducing and mitigating the environmental effects of combined sewer overflows (CSOs). He has lectured on topics of trails, green infrastructure and urban forestry for state, local and national organizations and events.
