Ryan Geismar, ASLA, LEED-AP, PLA

Ryan Geismar is a landscape architect whose practice is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of design. As an Associate Principal at Human Nature Inc., he draws on a dual background in architecture and landscape architecture to guide public space projects that connect people to place, purpose, and one another. His work—from riverfronts to school campuses—blends creative vision with civic responsibility.

Ryan is also the co-founder of  Vacant Lots: Occupied, a studio initiative that turns blighted urban land into vibrant community assets. Whether teaching at the University of Cincinnati or volunteering with neighborhood groups, Ryan brings care, clarity, and collaboration to everything he touches. At home, he’s a devoted dad to three spirited daughters—his daily inspiration to build a more just and sustainable world.
